With the Easter holiday upon us, KPVI decided to find out just what people are spending for the Spring holiday this year.
According to the National Retail Federation, the later Easter Holiday is expected to have record spending.
The retail stores are hopping with business just a day before the Easter Bunny arrives to deliver baskets filled with candy and other favorites.
The National Retail Federation says Americans will spend more than ever as they celebrate Easter a few weeks earlier than last year.
The holiday is expected to reach $18.4 billion dollars, up six percent over last year’s record.
Closer to home, some are filling up their shopping baskets, spending about $600 dollars to fill Easter baskets this year.
