Willie G’s Seafood and Steaks has broken ground on a new location in The Post Oak, a master-planned development with a 38-story, mixed-use tower and adjacent ballroom on 10 acres at 1600 W. Loop South, owner Tilman Fertitta announced. The restaurant will relocate from 1605 Post Oak Blvd. this fall. Mastro’s Steakhouse will also open its first location in Texas within the development. The 680,000-square-foot tower will contain 250 hotel rooms, more than 150,000 square feet of office space and 20 apartment units. Fertitta Entertainment and its affiliates, Landry’s, Golden Nugget and Fertitta Hospitality, are based in Houston.

The Sembler Co. and Forge Capital Partners have purchased the Humblewood Center, a 172,897-square-foot shopping center anchored by Petco, Sketchers and Conn’s Home Plus. The center, at the southwest corner of U.S. 59 and FM 1960 just south of Deerbrook Mall, was purchased from Weingarten Realty Investors.
