DFS CEO Ian Filby to retire and be succeeded by Tim Stacey

Filby will step down from the company’s board on 31 October 2018 and remain with the business on a part time basis until 31 October 2019 during which time he will also take on the role of chairman of Sofology. Meanwhile, Stacey will become chief executive on 1 November after a six-month handover period.
